AI strategy and automation for small business

AI without
the panic.

I made every single mistake first,
so you get to skip that part.

I teach AI to people who are not technical, and I build the systems that take the boring work off their plate. Twenty five years in advertising and operations. Twenty years inside real businesses' books. No jargon, no six month roadmap, no tech bro energy.

No pitch and no slides. We look at one normal week of your business and find the two hours AI can hand back to you. If there is nothing there, I will tell you that.

Read this part first

You are not
behind.

Most people I talk to are not confused about AI. They are quietly embarrassed. They think everyone else already figured it out and they missed the meeting.

Nobody figured it out. We are all still guessing.

  • You do not need to learn to code.
  • You do not need to know what an API is.
  • You do not need a new tool for every problem.
  • You need to know which two hours of your week are being wasted, and then we take them back.

Who I work with

Small businesses
run by actual humans.

Not startups with a technical co founder. People who are doing five jobs at once and know that something in there should not still be manual.

01

Solo operators wearing every hat

Etsy sellers, studio owners, cafés, salons, consultants. The admin is eating the part of the week you actually get paid for.

02

Shopify sellers whose books never match

Payouts, fees, refunds, remittances, deductions, reconciliations. This is the request I get most often, and I do this work by hand for real businesses, which is exactly why I know what a machine can take.

03

Women building a second career

You have twenty years of judgment and a nagging feeling you are supposed to be technical now. You are not. You are supposed to be useful, and you already are.

How this usually goes

Three ways in.
All of them start with a chat.

The free workshop

Free · 45 min

A live, non technical session. We set Claude up properly and build one real thing from your own work. The first one sold out, so the next date goes to the waitlist first.

  • Claude set up the right way
  • Your custom instructions written and saved
  • One finished asset you can use the next morning

Most people pick this

The workflow audit

Fixed price

We map one real week of your business, find every task that should not be manual, and rank them by what they cost you.

  • A written map of your actual workflow
  • The three highest value things to automate first
  • An honest note on what is not worth automating yet

Done for you

I build it

Project based

I build the agent or automation, test it on your real data, and hand it over with instructions a human can follow.

  • Shopify payout reconciliation and QuickBooks clean up
  • Document intake, bookkeeping and reporting flows
  • Lead research, outreach and content systems
  • Training so your team can actually run it

Show the work

Things I have
actually finished.

Not case studies with the names filed off for the sake of it. This is the work, and here is what it changed.

Advertising

The all night pitch

A multi department agency pitch, four teams, hundreds of pages of research and no time. I used AI to synthesise the whole thing into one coherent deck overnight.

OutcomeWe won it.

Bookkeeping

Three years of somebody else's books

Full controller and bookkeeping work for a wellness services company. I now know every step by heart, which is why I am turning each one into an agent instead of doing it by hand.

OutcomeA manual monthly close, rebuilt as a repeatable system.

Ecommerce

An Etsy shop in under a week

Brand, product photography direction, listings and copy for my own craft shop, built end to end with AI as a live experiment on myself before I sold the approach to anyone.

OutcomeIdea to open shop in six days.

Outreach

Cold email from zero

Domains, mailboxes, warm up, sending platform and an AI research step that writes a real first line per lead. The part I dreaded for days, documented so the next person does it in an afternoon.

OutcomeA working pipeline, and a reusable skill.

Free, no email required

Goodies I built.
Take them.

Small tools I made for myself while learning, then put on the internet because somebody else probably has the same problem. No signup, no upsell, no newsletter trap. They just open in your browser.

Free

Carousel Maker

Turns a topic and a few reference screenshots into a ready to post social carousel. One file, no signup, no design software.

Free

Teleprompter

For anyone who freezes up talking to camera. I did not ask for this one, Claude noticed the problem while we were working on something else and built it.

Free

Trend Radar

Scans what is moving in an industry and turns it into hooks, scripts and outlines in your own voice. A rebuild of a clip the news workflow from an old advertising job.

Runs inside a Claude conversation rather than on its own. Standalone version is on my list.

All of these started as me trying to solve my own problem at 6am.

In their words

What clients say.

If I try to define her with 3 adjectives...

Bulent Yar, Founder and CEO at Staff Media. Managed Gökçe directly.

★★★★★

Judgment

She worked through it as a practicing controller would rather than as a reviewer, checked figures against the underlying data instead of taking the screen at face value, and wrote it up with enough specificity that every point was reproducible. Her closing analysis reframed a problem we had been treating as three separate issues into one, which was worth more than the engagement cost.

Strategy

Gökçe is a hard worker and eager to build and expand, which she has done with great success in the time I had the privilege to work with her and her team. She is very good at building integrated marketing strategies for the clients. She also has very strong interpersonal relationship and problem solving skills.

For GökçeEvery quote on this page is real and unedited apart from trimming. Upwork clients are attributed by role because I do not have their names. LinkedIn titles are their current ones, recommendations are dated 2014 and 2022. Still on the bench: the crashed computer QuickBooks rescue review.

Why trust me on this

I have been
here before.

The last time a technology quietly rearranged how business worked, I was already in the room. Not as a technologist. As the person figuring out what it actually meant for real companies.

Somebody I worked with wrote this in 2014.

Gokce is bright, highly motivated and very innovative. She worked on the early stage eCommerce strategies when "eCommerce" was still a new term in the .com space. She had a good grasp of the fast growing, dynamic and ever changing marketplace and was able to develop an overarching strategy. Her start-up like mindset helped define new business opportunities. She is so well versed in latest trends and technologies that I always have a pleasure of sharing knowledge and bouncing ideas off her.

About

I wear sneakers
under a suit.

Not as a metaphor. I show up to a boardroom in a suit and running shoes, and I take my laptop to the beach. It has always been like that, and it turns out that is also how I work.

I spent twenty five years in advertising and operations, in Istanbul and Nashville, running media agencies and growing export businesses. Somewhere in there I also became the person who does the books, because I like knowing exactly where the money went. Now I build AI agents that do both jobs, and I document the whole messy process publicly so nobody has to pretend it was easy.

I am not a programmer and I am not trying to become one. I am the translator between how a business actually runs and what these tools can genuinely do. That is a rarer job than it sounds.

"One of the best communication and collaboration skills people I know."
Yeşim Ezber Yıldızöz, CHRO and career coach. Worked with Gökçe at GroupM, where she took on the agency's talent and HR responsibilities alongside her client work.
